Folks, please pray for my friends’ mother (Ms. Carswell) who is in ICU down in Charlotte, still recovering from a car accident several weeks ago.  Pray that she opens her eyes and looks at her worried daughter, and assures her that time heals all wounds.  Please pray for relief from a long ordeal for the family.

Please pray for Mr. Jasper Coley, who passed on this past Tuesday at the age of 88.  He was a good man.

Please pray for my son, who is looking for hope for his eye sight problem, he needs an appointment in Florida with a particular specialist and our family prays for hope.

Please pray for my friend Ted, who has been having one health ordeal after another, it seems like stabilization is something his body refuses to do.  I pray for better health and more exercise for Ted.

Please pray for our country and the problems we face as a nation.  Pray for all our military personnel stationed all over the globe.

Thank you.

I receive my prayer list from Robert Calloway [mailto:bobthebald@charter.net] and I have found out that he is now in the ICU of Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC and he is not doing well at all.  He has been very confused and his family fears his loss.  Ted is my friend and he is a firm believer in prayer, please pray for his recovery.  He still has much work to accomplish for God, please let’s keep him awhile longer.  Thank you for your time.

Dear Faithful Prayer Partners,

Here are some praises and prayer requests that we want to share with you:

Greater Lima Team

Rejoice with us that Jim and Sherry Neal arrived back in Lima this week!

Truman and Carol Chatman write, "Continue to pray for our work in Matute.  After being in the US for 6 months, it was a blessing to come home to Lima and to find the group still functioning and meeting regularly."

Praise!!!  For those of you who prayed for Maria Luisa during her cancer surgery and chemo and radiation treatments, we would like to share that her 6-month follow-up exams have shown her cancer free!  Thank you so much for your prayers for her.  We praise God for such wonderful news.  Maria Luisa is growing in her Christian life, and radiantly tells others what God has done for her.

REAP North Team

Sunday, February 5, a group of missionaries and volunteers will be traveling to minister to the Yagua people in the jungles of Peru during the week of February 5-11.  Please pray for traveling safety and good health for them.  Pray that the Gospel will spread throughout the villages where the Yagua live.  For more information about the Yagua People of Peru, go to www.imb.org/CompassionNet and search under "People Group" or go to the REAP North website at this address: www.reapwsar.org.

This will be a relatively short update as I would just like to briefly mention 2 very important things that have happened to us in the last few weeks.

First of all, after much prayer and seeking God’s direction, Karen and I have decided to move our home church membership to Grace Community Church in Magnolia Texas.  We have had an admiration and respect for one of the Elders of that church and his family for many years.  Ted and Johnnie Seago are known leaders in the Home schooling / Education circles and have been for many years.  Their family has taught our family everything we know about home schooling.  We always made it a goal to make every one of their workshops at the Home school Conferences (as did most other parents).  Our relationship grew deeper a few years ago as I consulted him regarding another church plant.  As Pastor Ted shared his conviction with me regarding the role of the father in nurturing his family spiritually, the family integrated style of worship and mentoring Fathers to be the biblical leaders of their families has tugged at my heart ever since.  As you know, our lives have been distracted for the last year and half, but we feel such a strong leading to be a part of that family even as we prepare to leave for Russia.  As in every other case this last year and a half, this is also a situation where the blessings fall on many people.  This church leadership has been praying for a greater involvement in missions and prayed for a family to be sent to them to call their own.  Isn’t God awesome to be able to work things out like that!  Here we are again as we are told that we are answer to prayer, but the fact is that we are the ones who have been blessed.  We have also made some new friends at the church who just returned from living in Russia and they are longing to maintain relationships with the people they have grown to know and love there.  They have taught us much about Russia and we are so thankful to be used by Him in so many ways.  We have also been inspired by another member family as they invited us to their home.  This blessed family is an inspiration to anyone they meet.  These are truly wonderful new friends and we look forward to serving with them.  Please add our new church family to your prayer list and look for more information later about this wonderful body of believers in the months to come.

Secondly, BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have you all been watching the weather?  You know it is cold in Moscow when the weather man on the weather channel says “it’s cold in Moscow!”  As I write this, it is 20 degrees there...that’s Fahrenheit!...below zero!!!  The forecast calls for a high of Negative 11 for the next week or so!  Pray for a safe trip for us.  Yes, that’s right I said trip.  Can you believe it?!!!  We are finally going to Moscow!!!  We are certain that every one of our friends from the FPO are already in the field and we are so excited to be finally going as well.  When we think about being sent by Southern Baptists to be used by God to reach a lost people, it is an AWESOME feeling of responsibility!!!  Happy will our triple-sock lined feet be as we bring “Good News”!

As we finished packing tonight, our thoughts are set on our teammates.  They have all been so patient and we are anxious to fit in and be an asset to the team.  We have many things we are trying to concern ourselves with and we have that “overwhelmed” feeling a little…actually a lot.  What’s interesting is that as we forget to do things, the overwhelmed feeling subsides.  Funny how that works.  Anyway, pray all day Thursday and Friday.  We have a long trip and we are already tired.  (Note time on email.)  We are scheduled to leave Houston later on today (Thursday) at 4:00pm CST and arrive in Moscow on Friday around 4:00pm Moscow time.  The kids have been so good.  We are so proud of them!  Pray for them.

We will update all as soon as we can.

Blessings to all!

Pray for us today.

Happy New Year from Peru!  Each of you are a blessing to us as you join us in the work that God has given us here in Peru.  Here are a couple of prayer requests for the next few days.  We will be sending the ReachPeru Prayergram a little late this month since we will be attending our annual mission meeting next week. Thank you for your prayer support.

Please pray for all of the missionaries in Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay as we meet for our annual mission meeting outside of Lima January 10-16.  This is a special time for all of us as we look forward to seeing those in the outlying areas that we don't see often.  This is a time that the missionary kids (MKs) look forward to also because they get to see their friends and spend time with English speaking volunteers from the U.S.  The volunteer team is from Wedgewood Baptist Church in Texas and adult MK, Ruth Fletcher who grew up here in Peru and now lives in Oklahoma will also be here.  The volunteers are always a special blessing for all of us.  Please pray for our South AM (SAM) regional leaders who will be traveling here and as they plan their conferences with us.  Also, please pray for Wayne and Debbie Brinkley who are coordinating the event including all of the travel, accommodations, food, the program for the MKs, and all of the other details for a large number of people.

The national Baptist Convention of Peru will be meeting January 10-13 at the Baptist Camp outside of Lima.  They will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the convention during this time.  Pray for Pastor Samuel and the other national Baptist leaders as they cast the vision of church planting that will reach all of the peoples of Peru with the Gospel message.

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for helping us reach all of the peoples of Peru with the Gospel Message through your prayer support!  Here are some prayer requests from the missionaries serving with the International Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention, here in Peru:

v    Mike and Kathy Weaver, REAP South Team, will be traveling to the U.S. tonight for vacation over the holidays. Pray for safe travel and a good visit with family, friends and REAP South partner churches while there.

v    Jim and Sherry Neal will be traveling to the U.S. tomorrow night for 2 months between their 1st and 2nd ISC terms.  Pray for them as they travel and for the leaders they have trained to continue the work in the LAMP (Apartment Ministry) while they are away.

v    Praise God with us for the new work in Pachacutec, Ventanilla on the outskirts of Lima.  30 people attended the first meeting and there were 4 professions of faith!

Next week, the REAP North Team will be sponsoring a training seminar in Huaraz.  They have received confirmation from 100 national pastors and church leaders who will be attending and are expecting 150 in total!  Pray for the national leaders, volunteers from REAP partner churches in the U.S. and missionaries who will be leading training sessions.  Pray for these national pastors and church leaders; many of them will travel a long distance to attend.

Please continue to pray for good health and safety for the missionaries, volunteers and national Christians working throughout Peru.  Several have suffered severe health problems recently.  Also, it seems that crime is especially high leading up to the Christmas holidays and we have already seen several cases to confirm this.

Updates on past requests:

v    Please continue to pray for permission to work at Hospital Rebagliati.  We are still waiting for the hospital to answer our formal request to work there.

v    Grace Hutchison is doing well from her surgery.  The school she teaches at has made arrangements for her to be off next week and then she hopes to return the following week to finish out the semester before summer vacation.  Their family appreciates your prayers and the emails that you have sent to encourage them.

v    Truman Chatman continues to recuperate from his surgery and is getting stronger.  They hope to return to Lima the first of next year.

v    Wayne Brinkley had emergency surgery last weekend to remove his appendix and is recuperating at home.

v    Pastor Francisco is regaining his voice and is doing much better.  He met a doctor at the hospital after his surgery who is a believer and she invited him to come and speak to a Bible study that they have at the National Cancer Hospital!  He will be having another surgery soon on his sinuses.

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for your prayers for Grace Hutchison last Friday.  We were at the hospital with Cliff until after the surgery and then we went to a prayer retreat with our strategy group outside of Lima until this afternoon.

We just returned from visiting Grace and she is doing well and plans to go home in the morning, (Monday.)  Please continue to pray for her as she recuperates at home.  (And for Cliff and the girls!)  She asked us to thank all of you for your prayers and for those who sent her email messages.  She said the messages were a real blessing.  Their email address is: hutchinlima@pobox.com

Just to let you know how God cares for every detail in our lives--we asked you to especially pray for Grace's high school students because she was concerned about being away from the classroom so near the end of the semester.  A relative of another teacher at the school arrived last week for a visit with her family and asked if she could substitute for Grace--and she has the needed chemistry and biology degrees!  Isn't God good!!!

This is a prayer request for

a man in need of prayer.

Please, take a moment and pray for this man.  He is in a situation that few people find themselves.  He is criticized at every turn, and few people have thanked him for the good things he has done.

Few people know the extent of his situation.  We need to pray that God gives him the guidance he needs to do his job effectively.  I have attached a photo of this man.  Look at it.  Most of you will recognize him.  Please pray for him.

Feel free to pass this on to anyone else who will pray for this man.  He hasn't asked me to send this request, but I am sure that he will appreciate all your prayers.  If you were facing what he is facing, you'd want people praying for you!

Thanks!

No matter what party you support, this man is our President right now and needs our help in prayers.

This country belongs to all of us.

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thanks for your faithful prayers for the requests that we send to you.  Here are some updates on previous prayer requests and a new prayer request.

Update on Truman Chatman:  We recently received this update from Carol Chatman:
Truman was able to return home Friday of last week (October 14th).  He is doing well.  He takes one or two walks outside each day, and is beginning to regain some strength.  We are so grateful to our prayer partners for their prayers.  God is good.  God is faithful.  We praise Him for bringing Truman safely through the surgery, and for granting him renewed health.  May God bless all of you.
In Christ,
Carol

Praying for the Rains Family

Please continue to pray for newly appointed missionaries, Michael and Kristi Rains and their children, Benjamin and Nathan.  They will be traveling to Richmond, Virginia next week for 7 weeks of training.  After this training and language school in Costa Rica, they will serve with the Mestizo People of Southern Peru.  For more information, go to www.ReachPeru.org/South/Rains.htm .

Update on Pastor Francisco
Pastor Francisco had his surgery on Monday, 24th (sorry for the confusion on the date).  They removed the tumor from his vocal chord and sent it to pathology.  He is at home now and his wife, Bertha is taking care of him.  Please continue to pray for them.  He will not be allowed to speak for at least 30 days.  Please pray that the tumor is benign--they should receive the pathology report soon.  Pray that God will continue to provide for all of their needs.

Prayer Request from Russ and Sherri Fleetwood: (Russ and Sherri serve on the Northern Conchucos Quechua Team and live in Pomabamba in the Ancash area of Peru.)
Russ and Sherri ask for your prayers for Russ’ father, Stan Fleetwood, who is seeking treatment for colon and liver cancer.  Due to a heart condition and other health issues, treatment options are limited.  Please pray for Russ, as he makes plans for a 2-week visit to Conroe, Texas to be with his family during his dad’s health crisis.

Subject: updates from Paul Brock in Hungary about Robin Brown

Dear Brothers and Sisters

This from Paul Brock in Hungary.

Thanks Your Brother in Christ

Ted Calloway

Here are two email messages I have received regarding Robin.
Cindy

First of all:

On Monday morning, October 17th @ 9:00 (Central Europe time) Robin Brown will have surgery for the removal of her right ovary at Telki hospital just outside of Budapest. The surgeon says the surgery will take about three hours. Although he believes the growth is an ovarian cyst, there is only a slight possibility of the tumor being cancerous in nature; he will be able to determine that during the surgery.  Robin will be in the hospital for seven days following the procedure.

Please pray that:

v          the Lord be glorified during this time

v          the anesthesiology goes well - not too little and not too much will be administered to Robin

v          that the surgeon will only remove the infected right ovary and that the left ovary will be healthy and can remain/be left in place

v          that the results will be positive with no signs of any cancer

v          that Robin will have a complete and full recovery

Thank you for praying for my wife! God bless!
Sincerely,
Ron Brown

I received the following second email before I even read the first.

Hi Everyone,
Ron asked that I pass the word that Robin has had her surgery this morning and all is well.  They removed the cyst and it was benign.  They felt like they got the thing near the beginning so they were very pleased.

The Browns wanted to express their heart felt thanks to you for your fervent prayers for Robin and the family.  They are now recovering and expect that Robin will be back home later this week.

Thanks again for praying.

Robin Brown, an IMB missionary serving in western Hungary, will be having surgery to remove a tumor from her right ovary; it is the size of a chicken egg.  Robin and I are hoping that it is nothing more that an ovarian cyst, but the doctors want to be certain that it is not something else.  We have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow morning (Thursday, October 13th) in Budapest to discuss the surgery; we do not know when it will be scheduled, but we are preparing for Robin to be admitted at any time.  Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!  Sincerely, Ron Brown

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for the work in Peru and for those of us serving there.  We received word today that Wayne Brinkley, our mission administrator in Peru, will be having gall bladder surgery tomorrow.  We know that Wayne, his wife Debbie and their children would appreciate your prayers for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.  If you would like to send a note to them, you can send it to this email address: debbie@chinesewsa.org.

Also, we would like to ask you to pray for us as we travel back to Lima this week.  We have enjoyed our two months here in Oklahoma between our first and second ISC assignments, but we will be glad to be home this week. We will be driving to Houston, Texas on Tuesday and our flight to Lima will be from Houston on Wednesday afternoon.  If everything goes as scheduled and without problems, we will be back in our apartment late that night.

Thanks your Brother in Christ.

Dear family and friends,

We hope that you are all well.  We always thank the Lord for your persistence in prayer to God for our needs.  We would ask you to:

Subject: more updates from Peru

Wednesday, October 5, 2005

Dear Prayer Partners,

Here are a couple of updates on previous prayer requests that we have sent to you and a couple of new requests.

Kevin Shearer wrote today with this update on Truman Chatman: "I did speak to Carol Monday night. Truman had come out of surgery around 7 p.m. CDT and was doing well.  He was to be in ICU until today and then moved to a private room.  Progress will determine when he goes home. The doctor replaced the valve and did a single by-pass. Everything looked real good."  Truman is at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and the main number is 901 516-6418.  You can reach the family at this email address: cjc784@hotmail.com.

We asked for your prayers last month for BJ, a young man who has traveled to Peru as a volunteer with Awestar Ministries the past two years. When we sent the last update about him, he was doing better.  However, we heard today that BJ passed away September 26.  If you would like more information, the family has a website at www.prayforbj.com .

Volunteer update:
Please continue to pray for the volunteers from Germantown Baptist Church who will be arriving in Lima October 6 to work with the Greater Lima Strategy Group.  They will be in Lima through October 13.

Marty McAnally, Strategy Coordinator for the Asheninka Team writes: "Today (October 4) we head for Puerto Bermudez, right in the very center of Peru, accompanied by volunteers from Catawba Baptist Church, Rock Hill, South Carolina.  They are Pastor Tommy Huddleston, Robert Sarratt, and Jan Turner.  We are journeying by road in our faithful Land Cruiser to this remote jungle town on the Pichis River to hold a training event for as many as 30 participants from various Asheninka communities along the Pichis, Azupizú, Apurucayali and Chinchihuani Rivers.  These are the leaders of new churches, churches in formation, and of newly forming groups in their respective communities. They are the men and women responsible for the reaching of the Asheninka people with the gospel.  We are also joined by Quilmer Rios, our faithful and effective young team member from Atalaya, who is working so fruitfully on the Ucayali River.  The training will include evangelism, church planting, and discipleship, as well as the topic of witnessing to errant groups who enter their areas.  Volunteers will join in the teaching times by training on pastoral ministry, sharing testimonies, telling Bible stories, and leading in additional learning activities.  Please pray for the men as they are today journeying to Puerto Bermudez by foot trail, boat, and car.  Some have to walk up to four hours to catch a boat to where they can wait hours for a car on a lonesome jungle road.  Travel is difficult in the jungle.  Pray also for our team as we travel the very bumpy and sometimes treacherous road of the Marginal Road of the Jungle (all dirt, mud, and gravel). 2 Timothy 2:2 is always the basis of our training: And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.  And again we go trusting in God to guide us and bring fruit out of our small efforts.  Your prayers carry us and this event before the Lord and we thank you for them." www.asheninka.net .

Don and Linda Johnson, Strategy Coordinators for the Northern Conchucos Quechua Team write: "October 3 – 15 a Vision Team will be with us to assist us in evaluating needs and how volunteers can help us reach the Northern Conchucos Quechua people for Christ.  They will be serving as U.S. coordinators for the teams.  This is an exciting time.  We believe that God will bless and lead each of us to know His plan for reaching the Quechua people.  Join us in praying for insight.  Pray for health for the team and for His guidance as we travel throughout Conchucos." www.peopleteams.org/conchucosnorth.

Dear Prayer Partners,

We just spoke to Carol Chatman and Truman has been in surgery since 12:20 p.m. CDT. They had called her and told her that the surgery was going well and that he would be in surgery and then recovery for awhile longer. After the surgery, he will be in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit for 1-2 days and then in a hospital room for 5-7 days after that. If you would like to call the hospital, it is Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and the main number is 901 516-6418. The family was in the Critical Care Waiting Area when we called.

Carol and the family appreciates your prayers for their family during this time of surgery and recuperation for Truman. Thank you for the emails that you have sent--we will forward them to the family as we receive them. You can send emails to them directly at this email address: Carol Chatman cjc784@hotmail.com.

Dear Prayer Partners,

We received word this week that Truman Chatman is scheduled for heart surgery Monday, October 3 at 9:00 a.m. at Methodist Hospital, 7691 Poplar, Memphis, Tennessee.  The phone number there is 901 516-6418.  They ask that we pray that reconstruction of Truman's own heart valve will be possible instead of having to have a replacement valve.  They ask for Truman's safety and his complete recovery to good health.  Please pray for Carol and their adult children, Pam, Karen and Tim and their extended family.

As always, thank you for your faithful prayers.

Subject: PRAYER CHAIN FOR CHAD FIELD

Please don't break this prayer chain.

From:  Vicky Field - Granbury, TX.

My son has been shot in Falujah...I wanted to get everyone to pray for my son Chad.  Today, Sunday, I got a call from the Army that my son had been shot in the head.  I am asking for all your prayers.  He was in a Humvee going through Falujah fighting and a gang of militia fighters fired on the Humvee and hit Chad in the head.  The driver got him out of the city and took him to Baghdad.  He was in fatal condition, but now has been upgraded to stable critical.  His dad and I are on standby to fly to Washington then on to Germany as soon as the military calls us to go.  The Army is trying to stabilize him enough to fly to Germany and at that time we will leave. Please pray that my son will not have brain damage and that he will be restored and healed by the blood of Jesus, and the grace of God.  I ask for you to pass this prayer request on so there will be many prayer warriors praying for him.  Thank you so much and I will try to keep you updated on his condition.

God Bless

ted calloway passes this on  for Jeff and Judy Hughes

Dear Prayer Partners,

Today we received the following thank you note from Sherry Neal to forward to all of you:

Please send a last note to our prayer partners thanking them for their prayers for me.  We really appreciate everyone praying.  I am at home recovering and I am doing very well.  We are praising God for the answered prayers and His care for us.  We know we are in his hands and nothing is too big for him to handle.  We had many opportunities for witnessing at the hospital and Jim saturated the hospital with Gospels of John.  My doctor said she could really feel the people praying when she operated and everything went well without any complications.  God has blessed us so much and we give Him all the praise and glory!!

Thanks again,

Jim and Sherry

Also, we received an update on the Bergeron family.  We had written and asked for your prayers for Mary Lee and Uless as they traveled to the hurricane area from Peru to look for their family.  We are happy to report that their family is alive even though they are all recuperating from a terrible ordeal.  The towns of Wavely and Bay St. Louis have been wiped off the map.  Please continue to pray for Mary Lee and Uless as they minister to their family.

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray for the requests that we send.

Thanks

Dear Prayer Partners,

Most of you know by now that we are stateside for 2 months between our first and second ISC assignments. We will continue to send out prayer requests for the teams in Peru while we are in Oklahoma.

Today we received these three requests. Please pray for these requests along with us:  Kevin Shearer, strategy coordinator for the Lima Strategy Team, sent a request asking for your prayers for their family and for the family of Uless and Mary Lee Bergeron. Kevin and Pam are waiting to hear from some of their family members. Uless and Mary Lee have been serving with the Xtreme Team at the training camp outside of Lima and will be leaving Peru soon for their last stateside assignment before retiring. They have yet to hear from their family. Please pray for these families who were affected by the hurricane and for those who are waiting for news in Peru.

Emily Reagan, a friend who worked with us in Piura with Awe Star in 2003, sent this request:  My sister's friend, BJ, went to Peru with her last summer on a mission trip and went again this summer. When he got back he became very sick and is still in the hospital in critical condition in a coma. PLEASE pray for him. Here is an update from BJ's dad: "BJ's condition is at a very crucial point. His body is trying to heal, but the bleeding has worsened and is causing other complications. It is critical that they get the bleeding stopped. They have tried so many things which are not working. He is bleeding internally as well as at the tube entry/exit points. the ecmo pump (which is re-oxygenating his blood) struggled early this morning as the amount of bleeding in his abdomen reduced its ability to work. Quite simply, we need the Lord to intervene. Please pray...please, BJ's dad"

Mike Weaver, strategy coordinator for the REAP South Team in Peru, sent this request for one of their partner churches who has adopted a people group in Peru:  We wanted to ask for your prayers for one of our REAPSouth partner churches in Louisiana.  They are Life Church located in Mandeville.  Here is a brief message from their pastor who is hold up in Houston waiting anxiously to get back home to check on his flock. "We are in Houston. Mandeville and Covington were hit very hard. Homes destroyed as well as flooded. We are not allowed in until a week from now. We still have so many unaccounted for. Please amass the prayer chains. We have so many families displaced and can't afford to be. Please pray for them to be able to find shelter and food."

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for your prayers for Pastor Francisco, his wife Bertha and son Mathias. Francisco had a biopsy on the tumor on his vocal chords last Tuesday. We received news after the biopsy that he will need surgery and that it will probably be scheduled for the first week of September. The doctors didn't give them much more information about the tumor or his prognosis. They did tell him that he would not be able to speak for 2 months.

Please continue to pray for this family. Even though we don't know exactly what is going to happen, we know that God is in control.  Francisco and Bertha have expressed tremendous gratitude for your prayers and concern during this time and they continue to trust God to provide everything that Francisco needs.

My name is Linda Jensen from Greensboro, NC.  Some of you receiving this know me, some do not.  I'm 47 and have been diagnosed with O.P.C.D. this year. I started having symptoms 5 years ago.

I can no longer work as a nurse, or be as independent as I used to be. I'm now on disability. O.P.C.D. is a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure.  There's no treatment available.  It sort of mimics Parkinson's disease.  The bottom line is that my brain is degenerating or dying.  The nerve pathways are not working right. Therefore I have no coordination, gait problems, tremors, fine motor skill impairment, problems with controlling my bladder (it's spasmodic), speech difficulty, and swallowing difficulty.  I will eventually die after a prolonged incapacitation.  I don't want to be a burden to my family.

This is a request for you to forward this e-mail to everyone you know asking them for prayer. The more people that pray for me to be healed the better. Pray and forward. It only takes a second to hit "forward".

Please do it and don't delete this, you prayer will save my life.  Please pray and ask everyone you know to pray for the HEALING of Linda, removal of this disease from my body so that I can resume a "normal life".  I want to continue to be a mother for my 2 college age children and a loving, supportive wife to my husband Brent.

The power of prayer is unsurpassed.  I believe in its healing power.  God will hear our united cry from his people.  Please do not be offended by my plea.  This is a simple, easy request from my heart to yours.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and helping with my request for healing.  No words can express how much power we have when we ask God in prayer for help.

Thank you again, and please send it to the far reaches of the earth.

Sincerely, Linda Jensen, Moses Cone Health
